In Europe, the market grew even faster.
The PS1, the PS3, the Dreamcast, the PlayStation 2, and a host of other devices had been the hot topics of the summer of 1992.
Nintendo, with its console and handheld console, had a lot to celebrate.
But, as the console industry continues to grow, a whole new generation has emerged that wants to experience a new kind of gaming.
